Ted Agent
Your AI agent, living in your menu bar.
Ted Agent is a single-user, local-first AI assistant that runs entirely on your Mac. It talks to you on WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, and email; keeps a real knowledge graph of what you've discussed; and proactively starts conversations about things that deserve your attention — daily digests, follow-ups on promises, nudges about contacts you've ghosted. Built on your local claude CLI by default, so everyday use costs zero tokens.
What it does
It reaches out first
Daily digests at your chosen time, follow-ups on promises, ghosted-contact nudges, and webhook triage from GitHub, Stripe, and Linear — all respecting quiet hours.
Four gateways, one inbox
Pair WhatsApp by QR and connect Telegram, Slack, and email — Ted sees them all as one inbox, with voice message transcription built in.
Multi-agent team
A head agent dispatches work to per-project Directors and specialized sub-agents, with the full chain — prompts, tools, latency — visible in the inspector.
Memory that argues with itself
Every memory carries polarity and evidence grading; Ted detects contradictions instead of just accumulating notes.
Hands and eyes on your Mac
Push-to-talk voice (⌥⌘V), screenshot OCR, Apple Shortcuts intents, and Computer Use with invisible background clicks.
Self-improving skills
When a tool sequence repeats, Ted drafts a reusable skill and proposes refinements as you keep using it.
